Things I used to say about money:
“I don’t care about money. I just want to help people.”
“Money is the root of all evil.”
“Rich people got there by taking advantage of others/”
The truth was…
I was afraid if I actually tried to make money and failed, people will see me as a loser.
So I used my pride as a measure of success rather than money.
This way, if I fail I can still say “I don’t care about money, I’d rather have my dignity.”
That was a foolish mindset.
When I made a little bit of money, I was able to provide jobs, help family financially, and give to others in need.
Money is an amazing tool. It gives you resources to make greater impact.
Don’t feel guilty about asking for money.
You’ll need them to help others.
