What is the meaning of life?
Short answerSun says he's probably the most nihilistic person you'll meet, but he believes meaning comes from the people you love and what you do for them, and that living fully, through ups and downs, is the point.

- He used to think the meaning of life was happiness and avoiding pain.
- Now he believes meaning comes from going after the hard, painful things.
- A meaningful life has ups and downs; that is life.
In Sun's words
Nobody wants to be a waste of space. The most miserable life is one where it doesn't matter if you were born or not. The most valuable life is one where, because you were alive, things happened that wouldn't have happened otherwise. Every time I give someone an aha moment, every time I show them something they couldn't see before, I feel like I contributed something real. That's why I'm obsessed with it. It's not about ego. It's about the most basic human need — to matter.
