What is Sun's Why?
Short answerSun says stop looking for your why, your why is simply to live life, and adding fake meaning on top of that makes you frozen and miserable.
Why the Search Hurts
- When you try to compress your whole reason for being into one brand message or purpose, you end up frozen and unfulfilled.
- Your career, your brand, the person you marry, those are tiny little video games, not your reason for existing.
What to Do Instead
- Just take the next right step and follow where it leads.
- Trust that wherever it brings you is where you were supposed to go.
In Sun's words
Your career, your brand, the person you marry, the vacations you take — those are tiny little video games. They are not your life. They are not your reason for existing. When you try to compress your entire reason for being into one brand message or one purpose, you will be frozen, miserable, and unfulfilled every single time that thing doesn't feel meaningful enough. So stop looking for your why. Your why is to live life. That's it. Don't add unnecessary fake meaning on top of that. Just take the next right step, follow where it leads, and trust that wherever it brings you is where you were supposed to go.
